Up front, the Sports Wagon features a bold mesh-pattern grille framed by slim adaptive LED headlights. The front fascia gives the car a confident and slightly aggressive look, while the sharp headlights add a focused, almost eagle-eyed expression.

Along the sides, the wagon’s long roofline and sculpted body panels emphasize its sporty character. Smooth, sweeping lines run from the front fenders toward the rear, highlighting the vehicle’s athletic stance. Large 19-inch alloy wheels fill the wheel arches, giving the car a planted and premium appearance.

At the rear, the Mazda6 Sports Wagon keeps things clean and purposeful. The elongated wagon tailgate improves practicality while maintaining sleek proportions. Audio is handled by a premium 11-speaker BOSE sound system, delivering high-quality sound throughout the cabin.

Here’s where the fun part comes in. The 6 Sportswagon is powered by Mazda’s 2.5-liter SkyActiv-G gasoline engine. The engine features Mazda’s SkyActiv technology and produces 187 hp and 252 Nm of torque. Similar to that of the sedan, the Mazda6 Sports Wagon utilizes Mazda’s GJ platform. For the suspension, it rides on MacPherson struts on the front and multi-link in the rear. Add all that up and combine it with Mazda’s ingenious approach to tuning a car’s handling, and the 6 Sportswagon is a fun machine to drive on the straight and narrow and on the twisties.

Mazda also thought about fuel efficiency. The Sportswagon’s engine is tuned to run with cylinder deactivation. This means, depending on the load, the Sportswagon can run with just two cylinders without hampering performance.
