Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc. (MIPI), the exclusive distributor of Subaru Vehicles in the country, has gathered selected Subaru Clients, media and would be clients in another unique event and fun driving experience at the Subaru Forester’s X-Mode System last August 1, 2015 at the off-road terrains of Daraitan river in Tanay, Rizal.
X-Mode System optimizes the electronic control of the engine, transmission, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD) system, Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Anti-Lock Braking (ABS) system.
With just a touch of a button, it helps reduce potential wheel slip on slippery surfaces, climbing steep inclines and navigating rough roads. When this is activated, the multi-function display helps you see the status of steering angle, driving wheel, activation of the ABS if necessary and the operation of VDC system. Moreover, this unique technology is operational at 18 mph or 28.96 km/h and below. When it exceeds, the X-Mode automatically stops functioning.
Subaru Forester owners, media and would-be clients were able to drive and manouever their own Subarus to the highway, dirt and slippery surfaces of the Daraitan River with the help of the X-Mode system. Professional off-road instructors provided informations about how the system’s ability unify traction control, VDC, ABS, and SAWD.
Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc. extended this event to its Subaru patrons and motoring media with the objective of providing an activity that is both informative and fun to highlight the unique lifestyle and maximum agility that owners can get when driving a Subaru.
The Subaru Forester comes in three variants – The Forester 2.0L XT, Forester 2.0i Premium and the Forester 2.0i-L.
