Three reasons why the Suzuki Dzire should be your next daily driver

Launched back in 2025, the fourth-generation Suzuki Dzire marks an evolution of the nameplate. It dropped its humdrum looks for a more exciting exterior, and what’s more, a new engine in the form of the Z12E, replacing the K12M of the previous generation. In addition, the new mill is then paired with Suzuki’s mild-hybrid tech, making an already frugal engine even more efficient. All these qualities mean the Dzire is ready to take on an already competitive market, even in the face of full hybrids.

Powering the Dzire is Suzuki’s 1.2-liter Z12E three-cylinder engine, which produces up to 80 hp and 113 Nm of torque and is paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

A compact footprint perfect for city life

The Suzuki Dzire’s compact dimensions make it suited for city driving, where tight streets, heavy traffic, and limited parking are just the norm every day. Measuring just 3,995 mm long and 1,735 mm wide, the Dzire is small enough to slip through crowded urban roads with ease, while its 9.6 m turning circle helps drivers maneuver through narrow streets, tight U-turns, and cramped parking spaces.

Despite its compact footprint, the Dzire still offers the practicality most city drivers need. It has seating for five and a generous 378-liter trunk, giving owners enough space for groceries, luggage, or everyday errands without feeling cramped. Combined with its manageable size and easy maneuverability, the Dzire is a sedan that fits naturally into daily city life.

Inside the cabin, the Suzuki Dzire offers a surprisingly refined space. The GLX variant comes with a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard across all variants, helping drivers stay connected on the go. Other features include multiple USB charging ports, a crisp LCD instrument cluster, cruise control, and multiple safety features. Rear passengers aren’t left out either, with ample legroom, rear AC vents, and a foldable center armrest that improves comfort during daily commutes or weekend errands.
