After bringing in the all-new Chevrolet Malibu at the MIAS 2018, The Covenant Car Company Incorporated (TCCI) pulled off another surprise with its newly-updated 2018 Sail. Minor changes were made to make it a fresher-looking subcompact sedan worthy of your attention.
The 2018 Sail now comes with refined chrome accents on the front grille, making it more sophisticated. This sedan also features new wheel design. Compared to the previous 16-inch aluminum wheels, the updated 2018 Sail brags a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels.
Nothing much changed under the hood, as the powertrain remains the same. The 1.5L D-VVT engine can still produce 107 hp and 141 Nm of torque, partnered with a four-speed automatic transmission with Active Select.
The American marque kept the subcompact sedan’s interior as is. The top-of-the-line variant is still integrated with a nine-inch touchscreen head unit with 4 speakers and an automatic air conditioning for on-board entertainment and comfort. One of its highlights is the sunroof, which is a unique feature for the Sail’s class.
The Chevrolet 2018 Sail comes with three variants: 1.3 LT Manual Transmission (P 791,888), 1.5 LT Automatic Transmission (P865,888), and 1.5 LTZ Automatic Transmission (P917,888).
