If you’ve been to Bonifacio Global High Street in the past few weeks, then chances are you’ve spotted a huge tent at the High Street Central Amphitheater. Inside, a brand that oozes with English style and pop culture resided there from the 8th to 21st of October, 2018.
A celebration of everything related to Mini went on for 13 days, showcasing how this iconic manufacturer has had a presence in films, music, and everything related to the automobile lifestyle. Those who did drop by their booths were treated to the Mini lifestyle through bespoke crafts, iconic designs, and activities for the whole family. Local creative items were also showcased at the Mini marketplace, immersing visitors with displays of local artisan partners.
This is the second year that the Mini Festival has been held in BGC, and its distributor, British United Automobiles, has made it a point to show off their latest vehicles plus some very interesting promos and offers. For existing owners, a complete line of accessories catering to Mini vehicles were also on display, with discounted prices to boot. This was also a chance for visitors to get behind the wheel of the Mini One (3-door and 5-door variants), the Convertible, the Countryman, and Clubman, and test drive these models to fully appreciate the go-kart like driving experience.
Aside from the restored and classic Minis on display courtesy of loyal owners and clubs, the highlight of the show was, without a doubt, the Mini Monte Carlo Edition, a modernversion of the Mini that took landmark wins at the Monte Carlo Rally. This special edition Mini pays homage to the victories of the years ‘64, ‘65, and ‘67.
Those who have also decided to take a Mini home during the event are entered into a contest for a trip to tour the Mini plant in Oxford, UK for a firsthand experience at everything Mini. The very attractive Mini Magic Financing plan, an offer that lets you drive home a Mini for only P32,423 a month, surely tempted many would be buyers.
