2025 Ford Expedition adds new tremor trim – Will it make a comeback in the Philippines?

Ford has given its popular full-size SUV, the 2025 Expedition, a new look and more practical features. The updated model introduces the Tremor trim, with off-road driving, and an improved tailgate system that makes cargo loading easier. Available in two sizes—standard and the extended Max—the Expedition keeps its spacious layout, with the standard version measuring 5,331 mm long and the Max at 5,631 mm. The updated front now has a simpler grille, new LED headlights, and a rugged-looking rear bumper. The Tremor trim features bright orange details, underbody protection, and 33-inch all-terrain tires. It offers 10.6 inches of ground clearance, similar to the discontinued Timberline model, along with a standard four-wheel-drive and an electronic locking rear differential.

Inside, the 2025 Expedition includes a new 24-inch screen and a split tailgate system, which helps make the cargo area more accessible. The tailgate lets you open the top three-quarters upward while folding down the bottom part like a truck tailgate. The structure can support up to 227 kg, making it useful as a seat or work surface. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, with choices between rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The Expedition can tow up to 4,355 kg with a weight-distributing hitch, and Ford’s Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Backup Assist systems make towing easier.

Orders for the 2025 Expedition are open in the U.S. starting October 24, with deliveries expected by spring. With a base price of $61,700 (around Php 3.5 million), it’s pricier than before.
