It seems that the 7-seater mid-size SUV segment has a new challenger as leaked photos of the Nissan Terra surfaced online. Rumor has it that the 7-seater Terra is built based on the Navara’s platform. As such, if everything goes official, this vehicle will rival the likes of the Ford Everest, Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Montero Sport, among others.
Noticeably, the Terra takes its masculine front and “V-motion” grille from the Japanese brand’s pickup truck. On its side, it has sculpted character lines complemented with side-steps that make it look wider than the Navara.

No specifications were revealed but reports say the Terra could be equipped with either a 2.5L gasoline or a 2.3L turbodiesel engine. Nissan’s mid-size SUV is said to make its debut at the 2018 Beijing Motor Show in April.
What can you say about the Nissan Terra? How can it stack up against its rivals? One thing is for sure, this will shake up the mid-size SUV competition.
