The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) opens the doors of the 7th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) today at the World Trade Centre Metro Manila. Running from October 24-28, 2018, the annual car show is set to showcase its biggest one that gathers 17 automotive brands that will present future innovations.
“We are happy to offer PIMS again this year. Our theme, ‘Future of Mobility’, reflects our commitment to bring technologies and concepts that make our customers’ lives easier, safer and more connected.”
Car enthusiasts visiting the PIMS can expect the displays of the latest technologies and new models from the participating brands including BAIC, BMW, Daewoo, Foton, Fuso, Honda, Isuzu, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, SsangYong, Suzuki, Tata Motors, Toyota, and Volkswagen.
One of the highlights of the show is Mazda’s unveiling of its 2019 lineup of award-winning models like the refreshed Mazda6, the more powerful MX-5, and its most luxurious vehicle to date, the flagship CX-9 Signature.
The Nissan Leaf on exhibit is also in the spotlight, given that it is the icon of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, and it presents the future of electrification, autonomous drive, and connectivity.
Also greatly anticipated is the display of the Mitsubishi e-Evolution Concept which boasts highly innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) ability. This advanced system can instantly read the driver’s intent, as well as the changes in road and traffic conditions, giving its driver and passengers a safer drive.
Aside from the vehicles displayed and launches, the participating brands at PIMS 2018 also offer test drives, vehicle demonstrations, car club meets, workshops, and a lay-out of wide array of parts and accessories. Treats, special performances and even access to car loan information are available at the Metrobank, BPI Family Savings Bank and EastWest Bank booths.
The public is invited to come and see this host of automotive presentations at the 2018 PIMS. Tickets to the car show are available at smtickets.com for only P100.
