ACMobility Camp John Hay

Ayala’s mobility arm, ACMobility, has teamed up with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) to roll out new electric vehicle charging stations across Camp John Hay in Baguio City. The partnership marks another step toward making EV travel more practical in one of the country’s most popular mountain destinations.

The new EV charging hubs are spread across three key spots inside Camp John Hay: Garden Wing, the Public Parking Area, and the Golf Club. Together, they add eight new charge points to the area, including Baguio City’s only DC fast charger so far, a big deal for EV drivers heading north, especially during the busy holiday season.

The Garden Wing location houses the most powerful 60kW DC fast charger that can juice up compatible vehicles in as little as 30 minutes, supported by two 22kW AC chargers. Over at the Public Parking Area, drivers will find two more 22kW AC chargers, while the Golf Club rounds things out with two 7kW chargers ideal for longer stays.

These new stations build on the existing EV chargers at Camp John Hay Technohub, with more AC and DC units already lined up to go live in the coming months. All chargers are accessible via the Evro app, which lets users locate stations, check availability, start charging, and pay, all from their phones.

“This partnership marks a key milestone in Camp John Hay’s pursuit of sustainable and eco-friendly tourism. By introducing reliable andaccessible EV infrastructure at a location as strategic as Camp John Hay, we are creating not only a greener and more convenient travel experience for residents and tourists, but also supporting ACMobility’s mission to provide accessible and reliable EV Charging across the country.”

Beyond Baguio, ACMobility has its sights set on a much bigger map. As the company moves into 2026, it plans to roll out even more charging points nationwide as part of its vision for the Philippine EV Spine, a connected network of chargers linking cities and provinces across the country.

“This year, we are accelerating the rollout of our nationwide EV network to reach more cities and key locations across the Philippines,” said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility. “By expanding our network and partnering with organizations like BCDA, we aim to provide reliable and accessible charging experiences that make it easier for Filipinos to adopt cleaner mobility solutions.”
