ACMobility sets the pace for 2026 with smarter EV infrastructure and services

ACMobility, Ayala’s mobility arm and one of the country’s leading EV charging providers, closed 2025 with steady momentum as it continued to expand and improve its charging network nationwide. Guided by its refreshed Charge Anywhere, Drive Anywhere mission, the company has focused on practical solutions designed around how Filipinos actually use electric vehicles—from daily commutes to longer trips and unexpected charging needs.

Rather than chasing sheer numbers, ACMobility’s recent efforts center on improving access and reliability across different charging scenarios. Its ecosystem now covers home charging through Greenstrum installations, public charging via ACMobility EV Charging Hubs, on-demand mobile charging through Power-on-Wheels (POW), and smart charging support through its e-mobility partner app, Evro. Together, these services aim to make EV ownership easier to live with, whether at home, on the road, or even in emergencies.

One of the company’s key developments in 2025 was the expansion of Power-on-Wheels, its mobile EV charging service designed for drivers without access to fixed chargers or nearby stations. Initially rolled out in select parts of Makati, Mandaluyong, and Taguig, POW now operates across all 16 cities in Metro Manila, including Pateros. Additional mobile units were deployed to meet growing demand, each equipped with a 120kW DC fast charger supporting both CCS2 and GB/T plugs for battery electric vehicles and select plug-in hybrids.

POW also introduced Emergency Charging Assistance as part of its service offering. EVs with 5 percent state of charge or lower can request on-site support, including emergency top-ups of up to 20 percent and 12-volt battery boosting when needed. Requests are handled by trained Power Tech technicians deployed across Metro Manila, adding a layer of reassurance for EV drivers navigating city traffic and longer urban drives.

On the digital side, 2025 marked a milestone year for Evro, ACMobility’s partner app. The platform recorded more than 33,000 new registrations and over 18,000 monthly active users, a sign of both rising EV adoption and increased visibility of charging stations nationwide. New features rolled out during the year included the Station Finder, which maps more than 340 DOE-registered charging locations across the country, and MyCharge Planner, a tool that helps users estimate charging needs based on their vehicle and target state of charge.

Payment options were also expanded, with GCash Link & Pay and in-app charge vouchers offering users more convenient ways to pay. Looking ahead, ACMobility and Evro plan to further improve platform reliability, station visibility, and overall ease of use as the charging network continues to grow.

Beyond Metro Manila, ACMobility remains focused on building out the Philippine EV Spine, extending charging infrastructure across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. By placing chargers along major routes and working with partners such as fuel stations, destinations, and transport hubs, the company aims to support both everyday driving and longer intercity travel—two key factors in making EV ownership more practical nationwide.
