ACMobility, one of the leading providers of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and infrastructure in the Philippines, has formally reintroduced its membership platform as ChargPlus. The revamped program now offers credits with no expiry, tiered discounts, and other perks.
Before it became ChargePlus, it was first launched as ACMobility Membership. With the rebrand, ChargePlus addressed key barriers to long term adoption based on consumer insights, these include expiring credits and a discount-only structure. Now, ACMobility moves towards a pay-per-use model that lets customers hold onto their credits without watching the clock.
Under the new program, purchased credits remain valid as long as the account sees at least one transaction every six months. That alone addresses one of the more common complaints from EV drivers who do not charge on a daily or weekly basis. On top of that, the program introduces tiered bonus credits, where larger purchases translate to bigger bonuses, up to 20 percent on top of what was bought.
What makes ChargePlus a bit more interesting than a straightforward credit reload system is the lifestyle component. Members get access to vehicle care vouchers and complimentary four-wheel alignment at Bosch Car Service outlets nationwide. BYD owners get special pricing on official accessories, while Kia drivers can knock up to P500 off their Periodic Maintenance Service at any Kia dealership across the country. There is also Power-on-Wheels, ACMobility's mobile charging delivery service, which qualifying members can access at no extra cost, a useful option for drivers who find themselves away from a fixed charging station.
Looking ahead, ACMobility says its partner app Evro will be getting updates that allow users to reserve charging slots and extend active sessions directly from their phones, features that address practical pain points in day-to-day charging.
"Our goal with ChargePlus is to transform the charging experience from a simple utility into a comprehensive, value-driven lifestyle for every EV owner. This rebrand reflects our commitment to building an EV ecosystem that is not only accessible and reliable but also deeply attuned to the evolving needs of EV owners."
ChargePlus is available now through ACMobility's network, with the Evro app serving as the primary platform for managing credits and accessing partner benefits.
