Revealed to the world in late 2024 as the DST Concept, Mitsubishi’s seven-seater concept car has since taken shape and is now known as the Destinator. Its journey from concept to production has finally brought it to our market. Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over. The Mitsubishi Destinator is officially launched here in the Philippines.
The Destinator showcases Mitsubishi Motors’ Dynamic Shield design language, built around three core design principles of confidence, capability, and prestige. Sharp headlights with integrated daytime running lights frame the honeycomb grille, which features a transparent 3D effect that enhances the crossover SUV’s commanding presence. Sculpted body lines highlight its athletic character, while a high beltline and pronounced shoulders give it a confident, modern profile.
Measuring 4,680 mm long and 1,840 mm wide, the Destinator finds the sweet spot between city-friendly proportions and family-ready space. All variants come equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, while the GT variant sets itself apart with roof rails that add versatility and a more rugged appeal.
The Destinator is underpinned by Mitsubishi Motors’ front-wheel-drive platform, shared with the XForce and Xpander. It features a front MacPherson strut suspension and a torsion beam rear setup, optimized for both city streets and provincial highways in the ASEAN region.
Power comes from the 4B40 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, equipped with MIVEC variable valve timing technology, producing 162 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The engine sends power to the front wheels via a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Inspired by Mitsubishi’s storied rally heritage, most notably the legendary Lancer Evolution, the Destinator features five selectable Drive Modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, Mud, and the all-new Tarmac Mode, delivering optimal performance and stability across every road condition.
Braking is handled by disc brakes on all four wheels, while all variants ride on 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Ground clearance is rated at 214 mm, providing a confident stance on various road conditions.
Inside, the Destinator has a modern infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the GT and GLS variants. The GLX comes with an eight-inch touchscreen, while the GLS and GT upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen, offering improved visibility and more driving information.
Standard across all trims are keyless entry, push-start ignition, and a steering wheel with audio and multi-information display (MID) controls. The GT and GLS add even more convenience with extra USB ports reaching the third row, voice command functionality, and an eight-inch LCD for the instrument cluster. The GLX features a combination of analog and digital gauges, maintaining Mitsubishi Motors’ intuitive, driver-focused dashboard layout.
In addition, passengers can enjoy a luxurious and intuitive cabin, enhanced by 64-color ambient lighting in both the front and rear, a panoramic sunroof, and an eight-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium Audio System for an immersive audio experience. Practical features such as second-row seatback tables, a Nanoe X air purification system, and a console box with a cooling function add convenience and comfort, making daily commutes easier and long-distance journeys more refined.
The Destinator lineup is available in three variants: the GLX, priced at P1,389,000; the GLS, at P1,599,000; and the range-topping GT, at P1,929,000.
As part of its introductory offer, MMPC is extending special launch prices valid until January 31, 2026. During this period, the Destinator lineup starts at P1,289,000 for the GLX, P1,499,000 for the GLS, and P1,799,000 for the GT.
To celebrate its arrival, early customers can also enjoy exclusive Destinator Adventure Gear merchandise with reservations and vehicle deliveries made from November 10, 2025, to January 31, 2026. On top of this, the All-New Mitsubishi Destinator comes with a three-year standard warranty plus a two-year extended warranty.
