Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) announced the arrival of the 2016 Civic. The all-new Civic was first launched last April 2016 and was positively received by the local market. As a testament, HCPI claims that they were able to receive more than 1,200 reservations for the 2016 Civic. In case you’re wondering, this is the 10th generation model of the Civic. Locally, it is available in either 1.8 E variant for P1,088,000 or 1.5 RS Turbo variant which is priced at P1,398,000.

On the other hand, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) celebrated their 600,000th unit production milestone. The tally was based on the combined outputs from their former assembly plant in Cainta, Rizal and their current facility in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. As of this writing, MMPC is the country’s second biggest automotive manufacturer.
