BAIC Philippines has expanded its presence with the opening of a new dealership in Marilao, Bulacan, making its electrified performance vehicles and rugged models more accessible to Filipino motorists in the area.
Situated along McArthur Highway at 95 Manila N Road, the BAIC Marilao dealership boasts a four-car display showroom and dedicated aftersales service facilities. This dealership is operated by the Autodspeedygo Group and led by its President, Mr. Vincent Licup.
In its press release, BAIC Philippines says it is proud to bring its rugged lineup of SUVs to the Bulacan market and car buyers in Central Luzon. This range includes the versatile X55 Verve Sport crossover, the rugged B40 Ragnar Diesel SUV, the spacious and efficient B60 Beaumont diesel hybrid full-size SUV, the premium B80 Wagon, and the cutting-edge B30e Dune Hybrid Off-roader.
Just to give you an idea of how good BAIC’s offerings are in the off-road SUV and crossover segment, let’s take a deep look at a few of the models mentioned. Starting with the B40 Ragnar, this boxy SUV features lockable front and rear differentials, a robust body-on-frame construction, independent suspension with front double wishbones, and a rear multilink setup. It also comes equipped with part-time four-wheel drive and is powered by a lively 161 hp four-cylinder diesel engine with 305 Nm of torque at its disposal, paired with a smooth ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission.
At the other end of the scale, we have the B30e Dune Hybrid, an electrified crossover with off-roading aspirations. The B30e is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, paired with electric motors—one for the 2WD version and two for the 4WD. This setup, known as the Smart Hybrid System, enables the BAIC B30e Dune 2WD to generate 324 hp and 550 Nm of torque. The more robust B30e Dune 4WD delivers an impressive 397 hp and 685 Nm of torque. Both models use a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT), with the B30e Dune 4WD achieving a zero to 100 km/h sprint in just 6.9 seconds.
Interested? These models are available at BAIC Marilao, and to make the deal even more enticing, all BAIC vehicles come with a five-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty for added peace of mind.
