BYD is the official mobility partner of the upcoming Superman movie

BYD vehicles took center stage alongside the cast and crew of the new Man of Steel film.

BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, partnered with Warner Bros. Philippines as the official mobility sponsor for the upcoming Superman movie. As part of this collaboration, BYD took the spotlight during the Philippines Fans Day of the Superman World Tour, held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. The event brought fans together for a celebration of the Man of Steel alongside the film’s main cast, director, and producer.

The partnership officially launched on June 19, 2025, with an exclusive preview of the BYD Sealion 5 DM-i, which was revealed at a fan event ahead of its official Philippine debut. The vehicle was displayed with special Superman-themed decals, giving fans and VIPs a first look at BYD’s latest sub-compact crossover.

In support of the tour, seven additional BYD electric vehicles, including the BYD Tang seven-seater SUV, the eMAX 7 MPV, and the Seal sedan, were utilized to transport Warner Bros. executives and crew throughout their visit to the Philippines.

The celebration of this partnership continues in the coming months, starting with a Superman-themed display of the BYD Sealion 5 DM-i at SM North EDSA The Block, from July 3 to 9, 2025. This activation will run alongside the BYD Tech Tour, taking place at the same venue from July 4 to 6, offering the public an exciting look at BYD’s latest technologies and vehicles.
