BYD Philippines is moving to Makati. The brand – known for its affordable gasoline, hybrid, and electric vehicles, as well as its electric material handling equipment – has found a new home in Barangay San Isidro Makati. The move to a new area continues the BYD’s push to get a slice of the NCR market.
BYD vehicles like the S1 and its EV version offer buyers a responsive powertrain and the ride height to match. The nameplate also gives buyers the option of going green with an all-electric powerplant. Other cars on the company’s vehicle portfolio like the Tang offers a suite of electronic goodies such as 10.1-inch android head unit and a 360-degree parking assist function.

All of the Chinese company’s operations will now be in Makati. The Shaw boulevard showroom and its aftersales service operations will be closed from December 26 to January 2, 2020. After-sales service operations will resume at the Shaw dealership on January 3, 2020, at 8:30 in the morning until 5:30 in the late afternoon. Along with the move comes a new showroom in Makati that is still in the works. It is slated to open soon, as to when, however, BYD has yet to release information about it. Our best guess is that it will open within the first quarter of 2020 as showrooms take time to construct and to set up for public viewing.
The Chinese automaker also states that its hotline number (8533-8888) will be temporarily unavailable to the public and its customer base. You can, however, reach the company by other means through its several department’s mobile numbers listed below.
