In collaboration with ACMobility, BYD Cars Philippines has unveiled significant updates to the BYD Atto 3 for 2025. This follows the vehicle’s outstanding success as the best-selling battery-electric subcompact crossover, with 1,062 units delivered to new owners in 2024 after just a year on the market.
“The latest updates to the BYD Atto 3 further enhance its appeal by introducing refined features that ensure it remains fresh and competitive in the rapidly growing EV segment. Renowned for its high-quality features at an affordable price, the Atto 3 continues to draw new customers to the brand, establishing itself as the go-to electric vehicle for those embracing a stylish and accessible BEV as part of the shift to an electric-powered lifestyle.”
Starting on the outside, the 2025 BYD Atto 3 one of the new additions to the Premium variant is a power tailgate, offering greater convenience and easier access to the rear compartment. A simplified rear design now prominently displays the BYD logo on the tailgate. Gloss black accents on the D-pillar garnish and window trim further refine the Atto 3’s appearance, adding a touch of elegance.
The Premium variant also benefits from wider 235/50/R18 Continental tires, which enhance handling and performance while maintaining a smooth and stable drive. Additionally, the Atto 3 introduces a new Cosmos Black exterior color for 2025, providing customers with an expanded range of color options to make this BEV suit their tastes
Inside, the interior of the new BYD Atto 3 now features ambient lighting in both the Dynamic and Premium variants, creating a more relaxing and inviting cabin atmosphere. To enhance comfort and health, a PM 2.5 air filter with on-screen monitoring ensures improved interior air quality for all occupants.
New interior color combinations are also available, offering greater customization. Lighter exterior colors are paired with Blue and Grey interiors, while darker shades are matched with a Blue and Black finish, providing a more formal and sophisticated contrast.
For the Premium variant, the already massive infotainment system has been upgraded to a larger 15.6-inch touchscreen display. This enhancement improves menu visuals, usability, and access to a variety of connected services, ensuring a seamless and enhanced driving experience. BYD also introduces a Near-Field Communication (NFC) card that adds convenience by enabling seamless keyless entry, ignition, and access to the vehicle's features.

The powertrain options for the new BYD Atto 3 remain unchanged, delivering an impressive 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque. Customers can choose between two Blade Battery options: a 49.9 kWh variant with a range of up to 410 kilometers and a 60.5 kWh variant with a range of up to 480 kilometers.
“By incorporating thoughtful changes that enhance convenience, style, and performance, the BYD Atto 3 remains the perfect choice for those transitioning to electric vehicles,” said Aiffy Liu, Country Head of BYD Philippines. “Our commitment to maintaining affordability while improving design and quality makes the Atto 3 stand out in the competitive BEV market.”
The new BYD Atto 3 retains its competitive pricing at Php 1,598,000 for the Dynamic variant and Php 1,798,000 for the Premium variant. It also maintains comprehensive warranty coverage, including an eight-year or 160,000-km (whichever comes first) warranty for the BYD Blade Battery, an eight-year or 150,000-km (whichever comes first) warranty for the electric motor, and a six-year or 150,000-km (whichever comes first) vehicle warranty.
