Electric vehicles (EVs) have been gaining traction in the Philippines, with more people embracing this sustainable mode of transportation. Leading this shift is BYD, which has recently overtaken Tesla as the world's number one EV manufacturer. BYD’s strong lineup in the Philippines, highlighted by the new Sealion 6, is a testament to its commitment to advancing electric mobility.
BYD Cars Philippines, in collaboration with its official distributor ACMobility, is set to shake up the local automotive scene with the launch of the BYD Sealion 6 DM-i. This compact electric SUV, featuring the innovative Super DM-i technology, is now available for reservation and promises to redefine the segment with its impressive range and cutting-edge features.

The Sealion 6 DM-i is designed to achieve driving ranges exceeding 1,000 kilometers on a single charge, thanks to BYD’s revolutionary Super DM-i technology. This breakthrough addresses the common concern of range anxiety, making long-distance travel more feasible and appealing to a broader audience.
Initial stocks of the Sealion 6 DM-i are already arriving at authorized BYD dealerships across the country, including locations in Quezon Avenue, Makati, Global City, Cebu, and Davao. Customers are encouraged to inquire and reserve their Sealion 6 DM-i at these dealerships to be among the first to experience this groundbreaking technology.
BYD is also organizing the first BYD Tech Tour from July 26th to 28th at the Glorietta Activity Center. This event will provide potential customers with the opportunity to test drive the Sealion 6 DM-i and learn more about the innovative technologies that set BYD’s electric vehicles apart.

The introduction of the BYD Sealion 6 DM-i and the Super DM-i technology marks a significant milestone in the expansion of the electric vehicle market in the Philippines. With its impressive range, innovative technology, and commitment to sustainable mobility, BYD is poised to redefine the compact SUV segment and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
