BYD unveils limited edition Seagull EV in Seashell Pink

Last week, during the BYD Tech Tour, BYD Cars Philippines unveiled a limited edition version of the Seagull that’s painted in a bespoke Seashell Pink, giving the brand’s electric hatchback a cute splash of color. This fresh new color gives BYD’s most accessible vehicle in the lineup a distinct and more expressive twist, great for those who want their first EV to reflect their personality.

Underneath the pink exterior, the Seagull remains the same mechanically. Propelling this electric hatchback is a front-mounted electric motor putting out 73 hp and 135 Nm of torque, giving it a zero to 50 km/h of 4.9 seconds. Powering the motor is a 30 kWh Blade Battery providing up to 300 km of driving range. In addition, the Seagull’s advanced architecture allows the Seagull to have DC fast charging and Vehicle-to-Load capabilities. 

Interior features include, but are not limited to, a 10.1-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, leather upholstery, and smart keyless entry and start. Despite sliding under the P1 million mark, the Seagull boasts an array of advanced safety features.

Beyond the paint, the launch of this Seagull is not just to introduce a limited edition car; it also represents a deeper commitment. BYD Cars Philippines has partnered with AC Health’s Healthway Cancer Care Hospital, the country’s first dedicated cancer care facility, to make this special edition part of a larger initiative supporting cancer awareness and care in the Philippines. Proceeds from the limited-edition campaign will support the Cancer Care Hero Fund, which provides diagnostics, treatment, and wellness support for cancer patients.
