
The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) is set to hold the 6th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) from September 14 to 18, 2016 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
Car enthusiasts, prospective car buyers, auto business owners, and those who want to be in the loop about the automotive industry are all invited to the event. The motor show will showcase the latest vehicles and tech features from 17 of the top car manufacturers and distributors in the country. These will include BAIC, BMW, Daewoo Bus, FOTON, Honda, Isuzu, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Peugeot, Suzuki, Toyota, and Volkswagen.
Although not specified yet, new cars are to be launched on the said dates, which is something to definitely watch out for. Aside from that, activities such as CAMPI Brand Heritage Exhibit, car club conventions, test drives, drift box activity, and car wash activity can also be enjoyed by showgoers.
Moreover, CAMPI aims to highlight the valuable contribution of the automotive industry to the country’s economic progress.
PIMS is proof that the automotive industry remains robust these past few years. We are excited to stage it this year as we lead Filipinos to a future of better mobility and transportation, and contribute to the country’s progress,” said CAMPI President, Atty. Rommel Gutierrez.
This claim is backed up by numbers from last year, which recorded a significant increase in sales target from 272,000 vehicles in 2014 to 288,609 in 2015.
The 6th PIMS is co-presented by Total Philippines Corporation. Tickets can be exclusively bought through SM Tickets for only P100.
