Changan Auto Philippines is introducing the Changan CS15 at the Manila International Auto Show, offering another good choice for Filipinos who want a small but high car. With its launch, the CS15 offered a budget-friendly yet feature-rich vehicle, so yes, it did enter the busy and really competitive compact crossover market with similar cars, like the Toyota Raize and Geely CX3 Pro.
The exterior of the CS15 features a modern and sharp look, is provided with 17-inch alloy wheels, and offers a ground clearance of 190mm. Measuring 4,135mm in length and 1,740mm in width, it offers spacious interiors and a cargo capacity ranging from 230 liters to 1,100 liters.
Inside, the CS15 features a modern and user-friendly interior, where the dashboard includes a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen for the audio system. For added comfort, the steering wheel, door armrests, and seats are covered in leatherette. Additional features like steering wheel audio controls and cruise control make for a convenient driving experience. A sunroof adds an extra touch of luxury.
When it comes to safety, the CS15 includes four airbags, stability control, and ISOFIX anchors for child seats. There are also rear parking sensors and a tire pressure monitoring system. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter engine, capable of producing 105hp and 145Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Now, here is what everyone's probably curious about - the price! The Changan CS15 comes with a really attractive price tag starting at P799,000. An additional introductory discount offer of P50,000 by Changan Philippines makes it one of the most affordable options in its segment. Quite tempting, huh?
You really have to keep your eyes open for the Changan CS15 at MIAS since visitors to the Manila International Auto Show can experience the CS15 first-hand, taking advantage of test drives and special offers provided by Changan Auto Philippines.
