Ford Philippines reinforced its commitment to service with its website feature called the Field Service Action (FSA) tracker. With the goal of keeping customers informed and safe with their vehicles, the new tool helps provide customers with real-time information on service-related actions.
What are service-related actions? Essentially, a service-related action will involve a recall of any kind and other actions that need to be performed by Ford to ensure safety and reliability. Anything from airbag recalls to other mechanical components, be sure to check back with the FSA for your Ford vehicle to ensure seamless operation.
“The safety of our customers and their vehicles remains our top priority. With our online tracking tools, we’re able to provide our customers easy and convenient access to service actions required for their vehicles to ensure their optimal performance.”
This development was made because of a recent recall for Takata airbags in Ford vehicles.
Ford owners can go to the brand’s website to check if their vehicle is part of a service action that involves immediate attention. All you need is your Vehicle Identification Number, which is otherwise known as your VIN. Simply, head on over to the website’s FSA tracker, then input your vehicle's 17-digit code into the tracking tool’s text box and hit enter. From there, the website will display all the pertinent information that’s related to your vehicle.
You can find your VIN on your OR/CR, finance statement, insurance paperwork, behind the windshield on the driver’s side, or underneath the carpets of the passenger footwell.
