United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), the company behind Foton and now Chery in the Philippines has just opened two Davao showrooms. This showroom marks the 29th dealership for Foton in the country and the 15th dealership for Chery Auto.
The dealerships are managed by the Autohub Group, one of the top groups in the Philippines. The establishments are situated in Panacan, Davao City, where the Foton showroom is strategically placed near the hub of major economic activity in the region. It lies in the area of the Davao Seaport and International Airport.
For the Foton dealership, the showroom can display up to six passenger vehicles, while a separate area is dedicated to heavy-duty trucks that can accommodate four units. The service center can service six passenger vehicles at once, while seven more are ready for heavy-duty trucks. The entirety of the establishment is on a land area of 3,000 square meters.
On the Chery side, the dealership offers customers the full scope of UAAGI’s brand ethos. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is akin to Chery’s vehicles. Brand experts are on call and available to assist customers in their buying experience. Sales services and maintenance are among the activities that this dealership will conduct as part of its operations. The brand promises its customers easier access to genuine parts and aftersales to keep vehicles in top condition.
Chery vehicles are backed by a 10-year or 1,000,000 km engine warranty, as well as a 5-year general vehicle warranty. There is also a 3-year preventive maintenance service package for all cars.
The rise of Chery demonstrates that grand opportunities exist in the current market for brands to invest in new and affluent territories. For this year, dealership network expansion will continue to be part of Chery Auto Philippines’ priority list-- with goals of setting our foot in more of both the developed and emerging market areas, as well as forging new and improved partnerships.
