Chery Auto Philippines has announced its plans for a rapid dealership expansion in the next two to three years. A relative newcomer to the Philippine market as the brand recently had a relaunch back in November of 2019. It now seeks to get a foothold in the local automotive market by adding 25 more dealerships to its growing lineup.
It is important to note, that Chery Auto Philippines is now under the distributorship of the United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) and started its first year of operations in the country with 15 dealerships. In the following year, in 2020 its total dealerships grew to 17, no easy feat especially when considering the effects of the still ongoing pandemic.
With that in mind for 2021, the automaker plans that it wants to keep its progress going by opening up dealerships in Commonwealth Ave., Fairview, Sta Rosa Laguna, Batangas, and Bacolor Pampanga, as part of its 25 dealership expansion plan. With these new dealerships, the automaker wants to reach out to more customers, to better showcase what they have to offer. From the affordable Chery Tiggo 2 to the tech-packed 7-seater Chery Tiggo 8, all the way to its soon to launch offering the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro. ‘
The trust of our dealer partners is an important part of Chery Auto Philippines’ continuous initiative to expand the dealer network not just in the metro, but also in previously untapped urban and rural markets.
Chery states that each dealership will be fully equipped to amplify the aftersales offering of the brand which includes parts, service, customer relations, as well as with financing programs. It is also important to note that none of the operators of the dealerships are new to the business. All current Chery dealers are multi-brand operations and have a combined 50 years’ worth of automotive experience under their belt. Through this, it is hoped that it will ensure easier access to the value-packed offerings that the brand has in the Philippine market.
