Chery brings hybrid driving closer to home with Tiggo Cross HEV

You don’t need a sky-high budget to switch to a hybrid. The Tiggo Cross HEV starts at P1.198M and comes with over 1,200 km range plus tech and safety features for families.

Hybrids are slowly becoming more common in the Philippines, and Chery is bringing in its own take with the Tiggo Cross HEV. Chery Auto Philippines has officially launched the all-new Tiggo Cross HEV, a subcompact hybrid SUV that aims to bring hybrid driving closer to Filipino families. It is now available in all Chery showrooms nationwide with an introductory price of ₱1,198,000. The Tiggo Cross HEV is built with Chery Super Hybrid technology, giving it a driving range of up to 1,200 kilometers on a single tank, supported by a power output of 201 hp and a torque of 310 Nm.

Safety is also a good feature, as the Tiggo Cross HEV has earned a 5-star ANCAP safety rating. It is equipped with six airbags, a strong body frame, and 14 advanced driver assistance functions. Features such as a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assist add further security for drivers and passengers.

Inside, the Tiggo Cross HEV is fitted with a 10.25-inch HD dual display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice-activated controls, 50W wireless charging, and a power sunroof. The cabin is made for everyday comfort, offering a six-way power adjustable driver seat with lumbar support and dual-zone climate control with rear vents to keep all passengers comfortable.

Chery is backing the Tiggo Cross HEV with an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the high-voltage battery and a 5-year or 150,000 km bumper-to-bumper warranty, which makes ownership easier and gives added assurance to buyers who are shifting to hybrid technology.

To let more people experience the new hybrid SUV, Chery is holding roadshows in malls across the country. The schedule includes SM Fairview from August 14 to 20, SM North Edsa from August 21 to 27, SM Marikina from September 2 to 8, SM Dasmariñas from September 10 to 16, and SM East Ortigas from September 19 to 25.
