The United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) the official distributor of Chery vehicles such as the Tiggo 8, Tiggo 7, Tiggo 5x, and Tiggo 2 in the Philippines is strengthening its after-sales service capabilities and reach with the introduction of its new Chery Easy and Convenient (EC) Mobile Service Program. The new program allows officially authorized mechanics using specialized Chery tools and genuine parts to provide quality service to the brand’s growing number of customers.
In this time of distancing when staying home is the safest course of action, we want to make it easier and safer for our customers to have their Chery vehicles serviced
The EC mobile program utilizes Foton Gratour MPVs which is part of another brand that UAAGI distributes locally. These vehicles are then customized in order to be equipped with the tools needed to be able to perform a Preventative Maintenance Service (PMS) along with other minor to major mechanical and electrical repairs and servicing. Each of these service vehicles comes with a 1.0-kilowatt inverter set that can be used to supply electricity to electric power tools. The vehicle also comes with two large-capacity oil pans, oil depository tanks, a creeper for under chassis work, and other essential tools needed to service a vehicle.
With the introduction of the new program, Chery Philippines hopes that it can reach even more customers in areas where there are no dealerships present. Not only will the EC Mobile program benefit fleet customers it will also benefit those who cannot bring their cars to the dealerships themselves. All an interested customer has to do is set a time and date and the service vehicle and crew will go to their location.
For the time being the EC Mobile program is only available from select Chery Philippines dealerships. The president of UAAGI Rommel Sytin, however, states that while service is limited for now, customers can expect this new service to expand to Chery’s dealerships nationwide in the coming months.
