Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is launching the all-new Avanza soon. We already know some details about the next-generation MPV, but pricing information has been scarce—until now. Word has surfaced that Toyota is planning to start the Avanza at P813,000 for the J variant and P1,039,000 for the top-spec G model.
Here is the tentative price list for the 2022 Toyota Avanza:
- Toyota Avanza 1.5 G A/T — P1,039,000
- Toyota Avanza 1.3 E A/T — P984,000
- Toyota Avanza 1.3 E M/T — P928,000
- Toyota Avanza 1.3 J M/T — P813,000

Keep in mind that these prices are subject to changes. Until Toyota announces the new model’s pricing during the launch event, take this information with a grain of salt. Although, these figures could also turn out to be completely accurate.
Apart from that, we've uncovered several key details about the 2022 Toyota Avanza. It will reportedly be available in two engine options. The first is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that generates 105 hp and 137 Nm of torque, while the other option is a 1.3-liter power plant that delivers a tamer 97 hp and 122 Nm of torque.

The base model could be equipped with 15-inch steelies, and the E variant could get 15-inch alloys. The top-of-the-line G variant likely gets 16-inch alloy wheels. All models will reportedly get a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. There could also be MacPherson struts for the front suspension, with a torsion beam sitting at the rear.
All but the J variant could get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The G variant ups its game with a push-to-start ignition and telescopic steering-wheel adjustment. The top-trim could also get active safety tech, including blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. Standard features could include hill-start assist, a reverse camera, and rear sonars.
