JETOUR May Sales Growth

JETOUR Auto Philippines has been putting up some seriously impressive ones lately. The Chinese automaker wrapped up May 2026 with 484 units sold, a massive jump from the 163 units it moved in the same month last year. That's a 177 percent year-on-year increase, and it's not a one-off spike either. The brand has been quietly stacking strong monthly results all year long.

Look back a couple of months and the trend becomes even clearer. March 2026 saw JETOUR retail 362 units against 122 in March 2025, good for a 197 percent increase. April was even better, with 402 units sold compared to just 105 in April 2025, translating to 283 percent growth. Month after month, the trajectory has pointed in one direction.

Through the first five months of 2026, JETOUR has moved 1,553 units in total. During the same January-to-May window in 2025, that figure stood at 561. The math works out to 177 percent growth year-on-year, cementing the brand's place among the fastest-rising nameplates in the Philippine market right now.

What’s driving JETOUR’s growth? Electrification, plain and simple. Of the 1,553 units retailed from January to May, 1,399 were electrified vehicles. That's roughly 90 percent of total sales coming from hybrid and electrified models, which is not only indicative of JETOUR’s growth, but also where Filipino buyers are headed.

The JETOUR T1 Lightning i-DM has emerged as the brand's clear volume leader. It packages hybrid technology with an imposing road stance, premium cabin features, and a price point that makes sense for the segment it's chasing. For buyers who want something practical today but don't want to feel left behind tomorrow, it appears to be hitting the right notes.

JETOUR's electrified push can be traced back to March 2025, when the brand introduced the Dashing Lightning i-DM and the X70 Lightning i-DM, a seven-seater SUV that broadened the lineup's family appeal. The T1 Lightning i-DM and T2 Lightning i-DM followed, deepening JETOUR's presence in the hybrid SUV space.

Now the brand is eyeing a different kind of customer altogether. The JETOUR GAIA lineup, headlined by the G700, is being positioned as JETOUR's play in the premium off-road and luxury hybrid space.

“Consumers are clearly responding to JETOUR’s direction and our growing electrified vehicle line-up,” said Mr. Nikko Sayson, Sales Director of JETOUR Auto Philippines. “The strong performance of the T1 Lightning i-DM proves that the market is ready for smart and accessible hybrid mobility, while the introduction of the JETOUR GAIA reflects JETOUR’s commitment to expanding into the premium segment with products that combine innovation, technology, and lifestyle appeal.”

If you want to see the full lineup up close, JETOUR will be at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show from June 4 to 7 at the World Trade Center in Pasay. The brand is bringing its electrified range to the show floor, with test drives and event-exclusive promos on offer.
