The 51st Asian Development Bank (ADB) Annual Meeting will be hosted by the Philippines this year, and with that comes traffic disruptions in the heart of Metro Manila from May 2-6, 2018. Some of the key areas affected by the traffic disruptions will be the infamous EDSA and Ortigas Center.
For those who aren’t familiar, the ADB main office in the country is located in Ortigas Center, specifically along ADB Avenue (between SM Megamall and Robinsons Galleria. As such, motorists are advised to avoid nearby areas as traffic congestion is expected throughout the duration of the event.
Marked as ADB routes are EDSA (Magallanes to Ortigas), Doña Julia Vargas Avenue, ADB Avenue, San Miguel Avenue, Guadix Drive (one-way towards ADB Avenue), Bank Drive, and St. Francis Street.

Although it is said that the traffic disruptions will be occasional, there are no specific time mentioned as to when these routes will be closed or hindered. We strongly advise that you take alternate routes and refrain from passing by the mentioned roads. Better yet, use Waze or Google Maps to hack traffic and get better routes so you can get to your destinations faster.
