Nissan Philippines is inviting the public to its #GoAnywhere event from January to March 2020. The series of displays and mall tours will let the public experience the Japanese automaker’s lineup of 4x4 vehicles in the metal. Featured vehicles during the mall tour and test drive events are the Nissan Terra, Navara, and Patrol.
Dubbed as the Nissan Go Anywhere 4x4 Test Drive Experience, the Japanese brand will also have interactive vehicle displays demonstrating the capabilities and technology found in its 4x4 vehicles. A special test-drive track will also be present to further showcase what these rugged rigs can do.
The test track isn’t just a flat road. It features a set of obstacles designed to display the capabilities of Nissan’s 4x4 vehicles. Each obstacle will test out a specific scenario that a driver will encounter when going offroad. The exhibition will tackle situations such as angled terrain, slippery surfaces, uneven terrain, and will even test out how these Japanese offroaders handle going up and down steep terrain.
Apart from its rugged capabilities, the Nissan Terra and Navara comes with Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility system as well. The system features driver aids that help driving the vehicle much easier. It comes with Intelligent Forward Collision Warning that alerts the driver when the system senses that there is a hazard ahead. The safety suite also comes with lane keep assist, which keeps you in the lane by scanning the road markings. A blind-spot monitoring system is also present in the safety suite so the driver will know if there are any vehicles outside the field of view. A 360-degree camera is also part of the safety suite making it easier for the driver to park the vehicle and check for hazards around the vehicle. These are just some of the safety features included in Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility system.
If you want to test out what Nissan’s 4x4s have to offer, you can head on over to these venues on the following dates:
- Solenad - March 13 to 15, 2020
- BGC- March 20 to 22, 2020
- SM Southmall March 27 to 29, 2020
The Nissan Go Anywhere 4x4 display is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m, while the test drive is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
