When it comes to keeping customers happy, dealership staff are at the front line. Ford Philippines recently gathered some of its top dealership staff for the 2025 Ford Skills Olympics, a yearly event that highlights talent and strengthens the skills of those who directly help customers.
Held at the Ford Parts Distribution Center in Laguna, the nationwide competition brought together more than 30 Sales Consultants, Service Advisors, and Technicians from different dealer groups across the country. Participants faced written and practical exams that tested their knowledge of Ford vehicles, customer service processes, and repair and maintenance procedures. The goal is to sharpen their expertise and guarantee Ford customers continue to enjoy better service at dealerships.
This year’s theme was “Ford Siklab,” which gave the event a lively fiesta feel and celebrated local culture and community. Ford Philippines said this theme represents the strength of its dealer network and the value of investing in the people who work with customers every day. Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines, shared that the Skills Olympics helps develop and grow dealership teams so they can give customers a better ownership experience.
The 2025 competition had winners from different dealer groups across three areas. In the Sales Consultant category, Anna Marie Asne from WQT Group took first place, followed by Jose Paulo Mendoza from LPL Group in second, and Carl Adrianne Salazar from PRB Group in third. For the Service Advisor category, Juriel Frontuna from ECY Group won first place, while Arsy James Granada from LPL Group and Carina Tanedo from PRB Group placed second and third, respectively. In the Technician category, Ryan Angelo Bernardino from ANC Group secured the top spot, with Aries Bustonera from ANC Group and Delmar Nanip from LPL Group finishing in second and third place.
For years, Ford has used the Skills Olympics to help dealership teams improve and grow while competing in a positive way. The goal is to make sure Ford owners enjoy better service when buying a car and during every maintenance or repair visit. Ford keeps training its people to keep the customer experience strong across all its dealerships in the Philippines.
