Ford is clearly not playing games, except when it comes to the New Territory Sport - their newest face in the compact SUV market.
Ford Philippines has added the New Territory Sport to its range of SUVs, with the goal of redefining what buyers can expect from compact vehicles. The Territory Sport, which is based on the well-received Ford Territory, features a number of design improvements and upgrades that make it stand out from its predecessors. With this launch, Ford Philippines continues to provide vehicles with good looks, useful technology, and safety features.
The exterior of the New Territory Sport has some modern touches, including a black satin grille and high gloss black accents. It comes equipped with black alloy wheels and a matching roof, giving the SUV a really smart, unified appearance. At the rear, the model displays a particular black "Territory" badge, bragging its identity.
Inside, the Territory Sport offers a fine cabin experience with black headliners and pillars, leather seats with perforations, and door trims that include high gloss black strips. The vehicle also includes advanced technology with a large touchscreen that supports wireless smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Under the hood, the Territory Sport features a powerful EcoBoost 1.5L engine that produces up to 160PS and 248Nm of torque, where the engine is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The SUV provides several driving modes, including Eco, Normal, Sport, and Mountain, allowing drivers to optimize the car's performance based on different driving conditions.
Safety in the New Territory Sport comes in features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, a Blind Spot Information System, and a 360-degree Camera, which would help drivers through different traffic situations and tight parking spaces more safely. The SUV also comes with a remote start feature, allowing the engine to be started from a distance, adding convenience for the driver.
Available in three colors—Panther Black, Lustrous Gray, and Crystal Pearl White—the Territory Sport is priced at P1,625,000, which comes with a service package that includes a 5-year free scheduled service plan, roadside assistance, and a warranty, making it a really tempting option for SUV buyers in the Philippines.
