Ford Philippines announced partnership with Century Tuna Ironman Philippines. Ford PH will be deploying its Ranger and Everest as the official transport of the participating pro-athletes, VIPs, and events personnel.
This goes without saying that the personnel, race equipment, and athletes' gears will be transported through and from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to Subic Bay with the use of the blue oval brand’s best selling SUV and pickup. Aside from this, the said Ford vehicles are also the designated lead and sweep cars during the race proper, as well as marshal vehicles to ensure the safety of the athletes.
With this partnership, Ford Philippines is certain that these vehicles embody the perfect representation of the athletes competing in this year's Ironman. The Century Tuna Ironman is one of the toughest triathlon races in the world, which is the best place to showcase the Everest and Ranger's durability, reliability, and extensive capabilities. ‘Tough vehicles for the toughest men and women’ sounds appropriate, right?
“We thank Ford Philippines for their support and collaboration in helping the 2018 Century Tuna Ironman Philippines and Ironman 70.3 Subic Bay become successful triathlon events. With their vehicles, we are assured of a reliable mobility partner to move and transport people and their equipment around.”
In case you don't know, this will be the first full Ironman race event to be held in the Philippines. The Century Tuna Ironman Philippines and Ironman 70.3 Subic Bay will take place at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone this June 3, 2018.
