Ford Philippines has bagged three accolades at the recent 2018-2019 Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards and Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards. These acknowledgements mirror the American brand’s improvement in terms of innovation and design, as well as safety features.
The stars of the event were the automaker’s top visuals – the Mustang, Ranger, and Expedition. These three managed to stand out among the other models in their respective categories.
Chosen by the public through voting, the Ford’s powerful horse Mustang was named as the Sports Car of the Year in the People’s Choice category. Despite a challenging head to head with the pride of different carmakers, the Ford’s top-selling nameplate Ranger once again proved its charisma and appeal as it was picked as the Best Designed Pick-up of the Year. Completing the trio, the Ford Expedition that’s packed with essential goodies, took home the Best in Safety Features of the Year in the large SUV segment.
“These citations further inspire us to deliver great vehicles to our customers and find ways to constantly improve the Ford ownership experience. We thank the organizers, the Philippine motoring media, and the general public for their continued support to Ford.”
Ford has been steadily getting a good response and a consistent award recipient in the Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards and Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards. As a matter of fact, the Mustang, Ranger, and Explorer were also acknowledged last year for its safety, design, and engine performance. Bagging these remarkable awards speak volume on how the American carmaker continuously pulling strings to provide its customers high quality and dependable vehicles.
