Ford Philippines finished 2019 strong coming in at 6th spot in the local brand rankings, selling 21,900 units for that year. It was also able to garner a 5.34% share of the market. Topping it off the Blue Oval finished 2019 with a total of 49 dealerships, just one shy of the big 50.
For a strong 2020, Ford Philippines is looking to build its 50th dealership with the newest addition to its lineup in Talisay, Cebu. The Blue Oval, in partnership with Fairlane Automotive Ventures Inc., held a groundbreaking event in order to celebrate the start of the construction of the new dealership facility for the brand.
The construction of Ford Talisay is yet another milestone for Ford Philippines as we build our 50th dealership facility in the country, which is a testament to the growing preference for the Ford brand nationwide.
Umashankar continues by saying that the new facility is in line with the brand’s commitment to expanding its reach to new customers in the province of Cebu, as well as the greater Visayas region. It will also give them access to Ford’s segment-defining vehicles and after-sales services.
The construction of the new Ford Talisay dealership showroom and service center signifies the Blue Oval’s expansion into the area to better cater to the growing demand for automotive products and service. The facility sits on a 1,397 square meter lot that comes with a 6-car showroom display and 12 service bays. The dealership promises to be the benchmark for the brand when it comes to automotive sales and service delivery.
Ford Talisay will follow the new global dealership branding guidelines of the Blue Oval. It will showcase a more globally-aligned exterior and interior look and feel called Ford Signature. The new design philosophy will offer customers a better dealership environment and experience.
