The 2019 EcoSport has mastered this combo: the maneuverability of a subcompact car, the versatility of an SUV, and the flush of class-leading features. After the local launch of its refreshed version last year, Ford is now expanding the EcoSport’s lineup with an additional Titanium variant which combines the performance of a new powertrain along with the high-tech features found within a standard Titanium.
In terms of exterior styling, everything is aesthetically identical to its 1.0-liter EcoBoost Titanium brother. Same goes with the interior, which has been loaded up with the same amount of equipment including the sunroof, a push-start button, and the 8-inch colored touchscreen which is powered by SYNC 3 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
This particular variant of the EcoSport also boasts in terms of advanced safety equipment such as a rearview camera with rear parking assist, as well as six airbags. Also standard are hill-start assist control, electric power-assisted steering, electronic stability control, and ABS with EBD.
The contrasting part here would be its beating heart, which happens to be the same 1.5-liter Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) engine found on the Trend and Ambiente variants, producing a healthy 121 hp and 150 Nm of torque. The engine is then paired to a 6-speed conventional automatic transmission – a combination that promises a smoother and faster acceleration along with better fuel economy numbers.

The Ford EcoSport remains one of the country’s favorite SUVs with its quality design, rugged capability, best-in-class features, superior fuel economy, and great value for money. With the introduction of this new variant, we are giving our customers another option to enjoy the mini- SUV and its street smart capabilities.
The EcoSport 1.5-liter Titanium is available in all Ford Dealerships nationwide with a price tag of P1,098,000. That’s P70,000 less compared to the range-topping 1.0 EcoBoost Titanium. Color choices include Absolute Black, Ingot Silver, Ruby Red, Canyon Ridge, Crystal White, and Blue Lightning.
