On January 23, 2024, Ford Philippines announced that it is bolstering the availability of the Ford Explorer in all its dealerships across the nation. Customers also have the option to book a reservation for Ford’s premium midsize crossover on Ford’s online reservation portal.
More on the Ford Explorer though, this is the vehicle to go for if you’re looking for a plush crossover SUV. This crossover is also a nice alternative to the Everest if you need a bit more interior space. Powering the Explorer is a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder Ecoboost engine. This motor pushes out 300 hp and 420 Nm of torque and is mated to a 10-speed transmission sending power to all four wheels.
“We are excited to share that the Explorer is now available to more customers especially those who are looking for a spacious and sophisticated SUV. The Explorer is an important product in our SUV line-up, and we look forward to seeing more Filipino families experience its performance, comfort, and capability.”
The Ford Explorer's interior boasts a range of features, including power-adjustable pedals with memory functions, all-weather floor mats, ambient lighting, cruise control, a dual-panel moonroof, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature controls, dual DVD headrests, an overhead console, and power-folding third-row seats.
Providing additional confidence while on the road is Ford’s Co-Pilot360 Assist+ Technology, a comprehensive suite of intuitive driver-assist technologies and safety features designed to keep you on the straight and narrow on each journey you make. These features encompass Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping System, Auto High-Beam Headlamps, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Evasive Steering Assist, and Reverse Braking Assist.
Right now, The Ford Explorer retails at P3,498,000. Customers can choose to paint their Explorer in eight colors: Star White, Agate Black, Rapid Red, Stone Blue, Iconic Silver, Carbonized Gray, Forged Green, and Oxford White.
In addition, customers who purchase the Ford Explorer starting January 1, 2024, will be entitled to an inclusive Peace of Mind and Free Labor package. This complimentary offering includes a vehicle inspection service after two months or 2,000 km—whichever comes first. Additionally, to drive the message home that Ford Philippines’ is committed to enhancing the ownership experience, two free labor services for periodic maintenance schedule services are provided to the customer.
