Ford Philippines continues its nine-month success streak in retail with a 42-percent retail sales growth rate from almost a year ago. A total of 23,091 vehicles were sold in those nine months which includes names like the Ford Ranger, Territory, and Everest.
Ford’s three popular models are the driving forces behind the brand’s success in recent months. The Blue Oval also boasts that it reached up to 3,391 vehicles sold in September, the highest figure since May 2020.
As for the split between the models, the Ford Ranger still remains the brand’s best-seller. As the top-selling vehicle in the lineup, it continues to grow exceptionally in terms of sales with a 22 percent growth rate compared to a year ago. A total of 9,113 Ford Rangers have been sold this year so far, and the pickup truck was also able to reclaim its leadership in the 4x4 pickup segment with 4,396 of its 4x4 variants sold over the last nine months in 2023. Ford currently has a 38 percent market share in this particular niche.
Meanwhile, the Ford Territory claims good leadership over its competitors in the small SUV segment. Currently, it stands with a 46 percent share of the market, and it continues to thrive in one of the more competitive segments in the industry today. Sales are up by eight percent to 6,955 units sold. It was in April 2023 that the Ford Territory crossed the 5,000 sales milestone, and Ford is hoping to keep its momentum going even further into the future.
Finally, the last volume driver is the Everest. It became the second-best-selling midsize SUV in the market with 6,693 units sold. Ford is extremely happy with the performance of this model and it’s also happy to report that the nameplate’s sales have grown by 255 percent compared to the previous year. In September 2023, the Everest was able to sell a total of 1,254 units, and with that, it emerged as the top-selling mid-size SUV in the country for that month.
“These milestones are a testament to our commitment to continue bringing our segment-leading vehicles and after-sales offerings to our customers, we thank our growing community of customers, enthusiasts and fans for their support to the Ford brand and our dealers for their solid partnership to improve the Ford ownership experience. We are excited to cap another successful year and make our customers say YES to new adventures and experiences with a brand-new Ford.”
In response to this momentum, Ford Philippines is piling on the heat and it will run a Year-End-Sale (YES) which will span from now until December 31, 2023. Customers can enjoy cash discounts, all-in-low downpayment deals, low monthly fees, or special service offers with the purchase of any Next-Gen Ford Territory or Next-Gen Ford Ranger.
Discounts can run up to P30,000, and low downpayments of up to just P99,000—all-in, will also be on offer. If low monthly fees are a concern, then Ford Philippines is also offering a low monthly fee of just P13,000 per month for the purchase of a Next-Gen Territory Titanium. For the top-of-the-line Ford Territory Titanium X, customers can avail of a P15,000 cash discount, or P168,000 all-in low downpayment, or a monthly fee of just P16,839.
