Starting May 16, 2020, Ford Philippines has opened a select number of its dealerships nationwide. The Blue Oval has opened its facilities in Baguio, Cabanatuan, Clark, Dagupan, Davao, Global City, Ilocos Norte, Iloilo, Libis, Otis manila, Pampanga, Tarlac, Tagum, and Zamboanga. On May 18, 2020, the Blue Oval’s other dealerships also resumed their operations. These recently reopened facilities are in the following areas: Alabang, Balintawak, Baliuag, Batangas, Cainta, Calamba, Cavite, Commonwealth, EDSA, Laguna, Makati, Malolos, Manila Bay, Marikina, Marilao, Quezon Avenue, Sta Rosa, and Subic. The Ford Cebu and Minglanilla facilities, on the other hand, will resume their operations as soon as the enhanced community quarantine measures have been lifted.
It is important to note, however, that Ford states that some of these facilities will be operating at a limited capacity depending on the quarantine restrictions in the area that is mandated by the local government unit. The Blue Oval advises its customers to contact the nearest or preferred Ford dealership to schedule an appointment in advance for both sales and service transactions. The company encourages this so that sales and services can be done in a smooth and efficient manner.
In keeping in line with the Philippine government’s guidelines for quarantine Ford dealers have been progressively rolling out new measures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for its customers and staff. These new measures include conducting regular temperature checks for everyone entering the showroom, reorganization of the dealership floor for social distancing, wearing of face masks and gloves for dealership personnel at all times with a hazardous waste container onsite for proper disposal, enforcement of social distancing rules in all customer interactions, thorough disinfection of all facilities three times a day, and the availability of hand sanitizer dispensers and alcohol in the showroom.
The brand’s dealerships will also be implementing new initiatives such as vehicle sanitation and remote sales support in order to give the customer first-hand shopping experience as well as support for financing.
As we open the majority of our Ford dealer network, we would like to assure our customers and dealer teams that their health and safety remain our top priority with safety and sanitary measures in place in our Ford showrooms.
