Ford Philippines has ended the first half of 2021 strong with great sales performance. The American automaker has seen an increase of 84 percent compared to its performance in the previous year. The automotive brand was able to sell a total of 9,855 units which were led by the Ford Ranger and the Ford Territory.

The Ford Ranger Raptor also still continues to drive the brand’s overall 4x4 sales in the country.
The Ford Territory, on the other hand, was able to deliver robust sales for the automaker in the first half of 2021. The vehicle was able to retain its leadership in the small SUV segment with a total of 3,323 units sold and with a 56 percent share of the segment. The Ford Territory also recently celebrated a major event in the country as it was able to reach its 5,000th customer milestone after selling more than 5,248 units from August 2020 to June 2021.
The Ranger and Territory’s strong sales in the first half of the year is a testament to its sustained popularity in the market, and we thank our customers for their continued trust and preference towards our pickups and SUVs
Ford Philippines also doubled down on its efforts to expand its pickup truck lineup in the Philippines with the introduction of a new Ranger variant. The Ford Ranger FX4 MAX was introduced into the country with the purpose of giving interested buyers a more affordable version of th Raptor.
Speaking of the Ranger Raptor, the automaker also released a special edition model of the performance pickup truck dubbed the Raptor X. This gave the already formidable vehicle enhanced looks while retaining its tough and off-road-ready performance. Only 200 units were made available to the Philippine market.
