Ford Philippines is extending the coverage of its free Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) to three years. The previous coverage of the service was only for one year.
Starting from January 1, 2020, all Ford vehicles bought from any Ford dealership nationwide will have free 3-year coverage for roadside assistance. According to Ford, the move to extend the coverage makes it one of the most competitive after-sales offerings available in the market today.
This initiative is another step closer to improving the Ford ownership experience for our customers. Starting today, all Ford customers getting their vehicles will enjoy free 3 years of emergency roadside assistance that will give them the peace of mind and confidence that support will be provided by Ford anytime, anywhere.
ERA is a 24/7 program that provides stranded customers with a quick and reliable method to help them on the road. The program covers four types of basic services – all offered for free and can be availed three times a year. The first of the four basic services include towing of a stranded Ford vehicle. Second is the removal of the vehicle using a crane if the vehicle happens to get stuck. The third is minor on-site repairs. Fourth on the list of basic services is the arrangement or payment for a car or taxi service to bring the customer to their intended destination or home.
Under the program, emergency vehicles will be dispatched to the location of the customer to help with minor repairs such as changing tires, battery boosting and jumpstarting, fuel delivery, and towing services. When further information is needed the customer can call Ford’s customer service assistants so that they can provide the customer with information on the nearest hospitals, the transmission of urgent messages, arrangements of transportation, medical evaluation, and other related services. Eligible customers can contact the Blue Oval’s Emergency Roadside Assistance hotline at (8459-4723) if they want to avail of the service.
