Ford Philippines is set to launch 2 all-new models including the F-150 Lariat Diesel 4x4 and the Explorer 2.3-liter EcoBoost Limited 4WD. It has been confirmed after the Blue Oval badge updated its local website showing both upcoming models.
We are very excited to enable this section of our website to keep our customers up to speed and excited with what Ford vehicles they can expect to be launched in the future. We invite our customers to stay tuned on our website or visit a Ford dealer for more updates about upcoming Ford vehicles.
The all-new F-150 and Explorer can be found on the ‘Coming Soon’ page of its Philippine website. Customers can look forward to the launch of the all-new Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 and the all-new Ford Explorer 2.3-liter EcoBoost Limited 4WD. While no exact dates were provided just yet, Ford Philippines stated that launch dates and pricing for both models will be available in the future.
While the outgoing F-150 range is still available in the country, the all-new model is proudly built on a high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body. Along with that, the full-size pickup also comes with some nifty exterior features such as a configurable zone lighting system and an optional tailgate that has a work surface complete with measuring devices made for construction purposes. The best part about it is it will run on the brand’s 3.0-liter turbo V6 Power Stroke diesel.
The all-new Ford Explorer, on the other hand, features a fresh exterior and interior. Notably, the midsize SUV switched to a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) platform. Aside from its spacious cabin that can be had with captain chairs, the all-new Explorer also features Ford’s CoPilot360 suite of advanced driver-assist systems. In terms of powertrain, Ford Philippines has confirmed that its Limited variant will be powered by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost gasoline motor.
So are you guys excited with both upcoming models? We are. That said, we hope that the Blue Oval badge will disclose an official launch date at the soonest.
