Ford Philippines is celebrating its 5,000th customer milestone for the Ford Territory. The compact crossover was launched back in August of 2020, and as of June, the Blue Oval reports that they have already sold 5,247 units.
Only 11 months have passed since the Territory made its debut, and the vehicle has garnered much praise from the public. Young professionals, tech-savvy millennial drivers, and small families all found reason to bring home a Ford Territory. The model itself has sustained its leadership consistently in its segment in 2021. As of May this year, it leads with an astounding 56% market share in its category.
As far as affordable compact crossovers go, the Ford Territory is in a league of its own. Designed and built to offer maximum value to its owners, the vehicle makes quick work of city streets with its ample ground clearance, and it breezes through the highway with its 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo-gasoline engine that returns smooth and powerful performance. Driver assistance technologies are also incorporated into the model lineup, as it comes with a 360-degree monitor that outputs to a large 10-inch infotainment screen. Drivers can also pair their smartphones through Bluetooth or with a host of other pairing systems like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the former of which can be connected wirelessly.
“This is a huge milestone for us at Ford and we send our immense appreciation to the growing community of Territory owners in the Philippines for their trust and support.” We are very excited to bring the Territory to more Filipino customers who will definitely enjoy driving a smart, safe, stylish, and feature-packed SUV.”
Customers looking for a Ford vehicle aren’t limited to the Territory as the only option. Apart from its milestone success, the brand is also extending its celebration to other models like the Ford EcoSport, Everest, Ranger, Ranger Raptor, and Transit.
