Ford Philippines announced that it will be improving the accessibility and availability of its parts in a continuous effort to enhance the Ford ownership experience.
The brand bolsters its current stock of parts by up to 30%, thanks to its new warehouse. The addition of a new facility also serves the purpose of accommodating more parts for the newest crop of Fords such as the F-150, Transit, Territory, and Ranger FX4 MAX.
More specialized models like the Ranger FX4 MAX may share a few components with the other models, but parts like Fox racing shocks set it apart from standard Rangers, and pit it closely against the Ford Ranger Raptor.
The additional warehouse will also pave the way for Ford Philippines to become a major parts hub in the Southeast Asian region. The goal will be to also supply parts to other markets in the ASEAN region such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.
“At Ford, we aim to treat our customers like family. We recognize that parts accessibility is very important for our customers and in the overall ownership experience. With the expansion of our parts warehouse facility, we are able to better service our customers and improve their after-sales experience when it comes to parts availability. We aim to continuously improve on our parts delivery process to expedite the servicing and maintenance of Ford Vehicles in our showrooms while maintaining the Ford brand of quality service.”
The Blue Oval is also ramping up its logistics efforts, improving upon its direct delivery and same-day delivery programs. The system will become more automated and streamlined, leading to a process that will make parts ordering faster and more efficient.
Ford will be able to deliver parts straight to all its 50 dealerships in the Philippines. Nationwide direct delivery allows parts to be ordered before noontime and then delivered on the same day for dealerships in Metro Manila and nearby locations.
