Ford Philippines is offering a big discount starting December 12, 2019, for its Explorer 3.5L Sport. The discount is part of the Blue Oval’s 12.12 12-days of Explorer deals. The promo lasts only for 12 days and ends on the 23rd of the month.
With the discounted price, this puts the 3.5-liter at the same standard retail price as the Explorer 2.3-liter EcoBoost Limited. This makes the larger displacement and specced-up variant of the crossover SUV more attainable for buyers.
The EcoBoost variant is priced at P2,798,000 while the larger displacement variant is typically priced at P3,178, 000. With the P380,000 discount applied, the 3.5L Explorer Sport now costs the same as the smaller displacement EcoBoost variant.
The Ford Explorer is a midsize crossover that offers seating for seven passengers and comes with an 8-inch infotainment system. The infotainment system features audio CD/MP3/Radio with 12 speakers, SYNC Voice-activated communication and entertainment system. The vehicle also comes navigation ready.
Even the rear passengers get some toys at the back thanks to the first row’s headrests which each feature a screen. The features at the back don’t stop there as the second row also gets access to two USB ports plus a 230V plug. Handy for the whole family and for those with charging needs.
Moreover, the Explorer 3.5 Sport features a 180-degree camera up front paired with front parking aid to make parking easier. A power tailgate is also present in the vehicle making loading and unloading easier. For those who want a better cabin ambiance, the Explorer also sports a pair of panel moonroofs. When more space is needed, the third row of the crossover can also fold flat with a press of a button. With the hefty discount and the features that it has the Explorer has become more attainable and value-packed.
