Everyone, mark your calendars, it’s going to be a momentous occasion on November 24, 2021. The Ford Motor Company will finally reveal its much-anticipated and much-updated Ford Ranger. Completely redesigned and extensively tested in almost every condition that the Blue Oval could throw at it, it will finally shed its camouflage for the entire world to see.
Reimagined, redesigned, and reengineered, Ford is saying that the new ranger will be the smartest, most versatile, and most capable Ranger the Blue Oval has ever produced. It will be sold in more than 180 markets in the world, and over 5,000 interviews were conducted with pickup owners in dozens of workshops, to ascertain how they used their vehicles, what they liked, and what they wished it had, plus all the experiences with their rigs.
“As designers, we engaged with customers much earlier in the process, spent more time with them and got more insights than ever before. Interestingly, we found that no matter what market, our customers are doers. They like solving their own problems, and they like to feel confident in their truck … not just the way the vehicle functions but the way they feel when they’re driving it.”
Doing this allowed Ford to redesign the Ranger with a customer-centric approach, allowing the brand to engineer solutions that it knows that customers will be able to enjoy.
With its rugged Build Ford Tough look and a host of new features that boost its already capable qualities, the new Ranger will be able to go more places, work even harder than it already can, and offer an even more comfortable and refined experience—at least according to Ford’s claims.
All of that remains to be seen for the first time without camouflage. Ford Philippines will stream the global reveal on its Facebook page and YouTube Channel on November 24, 2021, at 3:00 PM.
