United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), the official distributor of FOTON vehicles in the country, has recently launched their latest addition in the Blue Energy line-up – the Energy Super Truck (EST) Tractor Head.
Showcased at the 2018 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) last April 5, this heavy duty truck (HDT) comes in two options: 4x2 and 6x4. These two variants offer 40 and 60 tonnage capacities, respectively.

Talking about the engine, the EST Tractor Head boasts an impressive 2,100 Nm of torque at 1,000 rpm, thanks to its Blue Energy Euro 4 diesel engine. This engine tech is a product of FOTON’s joint venture with diesel power plant expert Cummins who intend to provide cleaner, more powerful, yet fuel-efficient engines.
Along with its commanding powertrain, this massive vehicle highlights a 12-speed transmission with high and low gear switch, and two reverse speeds. Additionally, the EST Tractor Head also comes with a slew of features such as an air conditioning unit, power windows, desert air filter, air bag seat, full floating tiltable cabin, electric rear view mirror, and glass lifter.
With all of these innovations, FOTON PH aims to offer customers not only great performance and comfortability but to also provide excellent fuel economy.
