GAC Philippines ushers in the start of the ber months by giving its electric vehicle lineup an added ownership perk with a limited-time offer for buyers of the AION UT and AION V.
From September 1 to December 31, 2026, customers who purchase and take delivery of either EV will receive a complimentary 7 kW wall charger and two years of free preventive maintenance service (PMS). The 7 kW charger operates at 32 amps and is designed for use with standard 220V residential power lines in the Philippines. GAC says it can charge a 60 kWh battery from low to full in around eight hours, making it suited for overnight charging at home.
The free PMS package is subject to GAC's prescribed maintenance schedule and can only be availed of at the authorized service center of the selling dealer. Owners will need to present their PMS voucher and vehicle records during each visit. The coverage applies to labor and parts specifically included in the standard maintenance requirements.
"We are thrilled to introduce this special program to our Filipino customers. We want to make EV ownership as convenient and worry-free as possible for our Filipino customers. Offering a free wall charger and two years of free PMS with the AION UT and AION V is also our way of thanking them for the strong support they have shown for both models.”
On the other hand, GAC Philippines currently supports its lineup through a nationwide network of 30 dealerships, a dedicated parts warehouse, and two years of free roadside assistance.
The automaker also provides different warranty packages depending on the type of vehicle. Its internal combustion models, including the EMZOOM and All-New GN6, come with a five-year or 150,000-km warranty, whichever comes first. Meanwhile, EVs such as the HYPTEC HT, AION UT, and AION V get an eight-year or 160,000-km basic warranty, while their traction battery and electric drive components are covered for up to eight years or 200,000 km.
For its hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, GAC offers a five-year or 150,000-km basic warranty. The GS4 Max HEV, E8 HEV, GN8 PHEV, and GS8 HEV also receive coverage for their power battery, driving motor, and motor control unit for up to eight years or 150,000 km.
