Legado Motors, Inc. (LMI), the official distributor of GAC Motor in the Philippines, held a groundbreaking ceremony last March 24 for its future dealership in Cebu. Mandaue City will be the site of the new dealership in Cebu. Situated at M.L. Quezon Street, in Casuntingan, the Chinese brand continues to grow steadily right after the opening of its first dealership in Central Luzon.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Vince Lim of Autozam Motors, LMI Chief Executive Officer Mr. Wilbert Lim, LMI Chief Finance Officer, Ms. Regina Lim, and LMI Vice President for Sales and Operations, Mr. Giovanni Frias. An agreement between LMI and Autozam was signed last December 1, 2019 at GAC Motor Metrowalk, Pasig.
The new 4S dealership is expected to open later this year with a full suite of facilities and services to serve GAC customer’s needs.
We are excited to introduce the world-class vehicles of GAC Motor here in Southern Philippines. Our new dealership will open more job opportunities and will contribute to the growth of the automotive industry here in Cebu,

The new dealer will be able to house GAC’s newest entries into the Philippine automotive market. The brand sells a wide range of luxury vehicles that cater to customers looking for a more affordable price point. GAC wants to give its consumers value for money in all the automobiles that it sells. The brand’s lineup of cars include the GA4 Sedan, the GS4 crossover, the GA8 executive sedan, the GM8 seven-seater minivan, and the GS8 flagship large SUV.
WIth its lineup and value for money, GAC is looking to get a good foothold in the Philippines. The brand will continue to achieve its goals in the automotive industry in the archipelago as more and more Filipinos will be able to have access to the brand’s cars nationwide.
