Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP), the official distributor of Geely vehicles in the Philippines, recently opened its second dealership through its dealer partner, Autohub Group. Its opening was originally scheduled last March, apparently, it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the community quarantine measures put in place.
Its current partner, the Autohub Group, has been in the Philippine automotive industry for a very long time. It has gone through such growth throughout its 21 years of existence, with Autohub having at least 19 vehicle brands under the group’s distributorship and dealership business. Moreover, it also has established its name and credibility through the following luxury brands it handled, including Mini, Lotus, Pagani, and Rolls Royce.
Mikihisa Takayama, the SGAP President and CEO, warmly welcomed the Autohub Group to the Geely family. He strongly believes that this partnership is a huge step forward for the distributor, this should also help the brand urge further in achieving its goal of becoming a major player in the Philippine automotive industry.
I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the Autohub Group for trusting and choosing Geely to be part of their growing automotive brand portfolio.
Willy Tee Ten, Autohub Group President and CEO, also delivered its gratitude to the brand, as it looks forward to being part of the Geely brand. Mr. Tee Ten believes in the brand’s true potential, as he is certain that it is under the good hands of its distributor, SGAP.
Going further, Mr. Takayama stated that this is just the start, as there are other pending expansion plans to be commenced in the near future. He wants to assure its customers that Geely is here to stay and continue to exceed the expectations of Filipino car buyers.
